How are you helping create a conserver society and a conserver economy in Ontario?

Your programs and resources are part of Ontario's conservation movement.  Take a page to tell us about your best campaigns, projects, services, or products.  We will compile these pages into a "We Conserve" workbook and provide you with an analysis of how all these activities fit into our template for an effective conservation: engage, advise, and support.

Submissions are still being accepted up to Friday May 27

Send files to Chris Winter, care of The Conservation Council of Ontario.

Who can submit pages?
This offer is open to all attendees of the Conservation Summit -- NGOs, community groups, cultural organizations and agencies, first nations, faith groups, companies, business associations, professional associations, institutions, municipalities, and provincial and federal ministries and agencies.  If you are attending as an individual, you may wish to submit a page on behalf of an organization you know.

Do I have to attend the summit to submit a page?
Strongly recommended, but we will also include significant programs and resources from groups that are unable to attend, if requested.

Can I submit more than one page?
Yes.  If you have good projects, services, or products to share and you can't fit them onto one page, please do so.  Just try to conserve paper.  You don't need to include everything, but you do want to profile your best activities.

Here's who has submitted pages:
(if you submitted a page, and don't see yourself listed, please e-mail

Yes.  Our focus is on creating positive change.  Much of our emphasis with "We Conserve" is on outreach and support programs, but we recognize that any comprehensive conservation plan requires fiscal and regulatory support as well as voluntary measures.

NOTE:

  1. a good campaign will integrate all three levels of activity and make it easy for people to participate and improve

  2. Where there are many similar activities is a good opportunity for collaboration and co-marketing
