Please join us for the third provincial conservation summit

Ontario's Conservation Summit brings conservation leaders from all sectors together for a day to learn about new initiatives and foster new collaborative approaches.  This year, we've teamed up with The Green Living Show to the best showcase of ideas and products.

The summit is but one day in a year-long commitment to build a strong and cooperative conservation strategy for Ontario -- one that links a conserver society with a conserver economy.  We use the day to share ideas, help launch new programs, and make new allies.

Our goal for 2007 is to make Ontario's "the most improved" jurisdiction for conservation.  How we intend to achieve this goal is through a combination of social and economic marketing -- NGO/business/government partnerships.

The one-day summit will launch the 2007 campaign with sessions on...

  • weconserve:  Shareware Social Marketing
Learn how you can use "We Conserve" branding and campaign materials to promote your own conservation programs,
    products and services.

  • The People's Strategy: Consumer-Based Climate Change Solutions
Our basic strategy for tackling climate change is to promote voluntary change backed up by a strong social and economic infrastructure (that means you!) and strategic government interventions.

  • New Projects and Ideas
As usual, we have a few neat ideas up our collective sleeves -- some innovative collaborations with groups and companies that are at the forefront of the conservation movement.
