Please join us for the fourth provincial conservation summit

Shifting to
a Conserver Economy

Our economy is facing some serious challenges:

• the cost of oil and the cost of living are rising
• people are looking to cut back
• conventional jobs are disappearing

Like it or not, our economy is changing. We are shifting to a conserver economy.  Our challenge is to be ahead of the curve. Ontario needs to create a conserver society and economy through choice, not crisis.

We Conserve is Ontario’s united conservation movement. Our goal is to support a coordinated and voluntary
transition to a conserver society and economy.

We believe a conserver economy will be more resilient in uncertain times. It will be fueled by public demand for
conservation and green products, provide new jobs, and will support healthier communities.

Join us. Be part of the solution.

The one-day summit will feature:

  • Climate Change Targets:
can we get there from here?

  • Scoping the Conserver Economy:
promoting new growth, not crisis management

  • Building Social Infrastructure:
how a "culture of conservation" supports a conserver economy
