We're on to something here.
Our approach is simple, yet revolutionary: a voluntary
transition strategy. It's all of us working together
toward a common goal.We're not
alone, either.
All around the world there are local,
and regional councils of organizations (and sometimes businesses and
local governments as well) that share a common vision of a greener,
sustainable future -- or as we call it, a conserver society.
We are all wrestling with similar
issues -- funding, organizing a common movement, promoting conserver
values and actions, supporting a green economy, fighting
against bad development and pollution, and working on proactive
laws, policies and incentives. We are all different, but we
share similar values and approaches:
 |
we
are councils, or networks |
 |
we
are helping build a common movement |
 |
we
have a positive vision for our future |
 |
we
promote a voluntary transition to a sustainable future |
Can a movement work for you?
We'd like to find more
allies. If you're from outside Ontario, think about how well
organized your province or state is to support a voluntary
transition to a green future.
We'd like to share our strategy and
resources with you, and we'd love to adapt and adopt some of your
best ideas too!
If you need help setting up a voluntary
transition strategy in your neck of the woods, please
drop us a line.
It's not easy, but it's well worth the effort.
Feel free to use our programs and
artwork in other jurisdictions (subject to the
terms of use).
