We
must all be leaders in this movement.
Each in our own way.
It is the only way we will succeed!
We define
leadership as "environmental excellence in who
you are, what you do, and how you help."
Those three simple categories can easily be
applied to each of us as individuals, to
community and provincial organizations, to small
and large businesses, and to our municipal,
provincial and federal governments.
In particular,
being a leader is all about leading by example;
offering green programs, services, or products;
and helping others. And when you integrate
this simple approach with the top ten
conservation priorities, we come up with a
robust and common model for promoting
conservation leadership throughout our economy
and society. Pretty neat.

Leadership Programs
We are currently
developing (and fundraising for) two programs to support
conservation leadership:
-
Green Leaders (for
businesses and organizations)
a campaign to promote and support businesses
that have made a commitment to greening their
operations and product or services;
-
Conservation Ambassadors
(for individuals)
an online training course to build an army
of volunteers who can help promote conservation in
their communities.
