Conservation
ambassadors are community volunteers who are
available to help promote conservation and
assist at community events.
|
|
We need ambassadors -- people who can help others
in their community to become active conservers.
What
does it take:
-
an
understanding of what it means to be a conserver
-
a
knowledge of conservation solutions you can help
promote, including:
-
expertise in an
aspect of conservation
-
community networks and action plans
-
priority actions and lead organizations
-
provincial campaigns
-
funding sources for
local projects
-
a
willingness to get involved:
-
participate in local
projects
-
present
to local schools and community events
-
connect people to solutions
We
provide the training (online classroom) and the
t-shirts. You provide the time and energy.
If
your group wants to host a conservation volunteer
program,
let us know.
