We wish to recognize the support we received for the development of the We Conserve model.

Sponsorship drive
We're running a fundraising drive. 

To kick start the united conservation movement in Ontario we need to raise $100,000 in sponsorships and donations for the Great Green Directory, promoting "I Conserve", setting up local Conservation Action Networks, and piloting a universal green star rating system  (see here for the details).  Some pretty amazing projects.

We’re going to need a few big sponsors, and a whole lot of friends.

Our first priority is to update the Green Ontario website to Web 2.0 technology.  Started in 1994, Green Ontario is Ontario’s longest-running environmental directory and clearinghouse on environmental resources.

The updated version will layer in a detailed database onto our existing factsheets.  Not only will it allow people across Ontario to access resources on all kinds of conservation products, services and incentives, it will document who’s doing what in Ontario’s conservation movement.

OPTION A –  $5,000 sponsorship
Straight and easy.  $5,000 gets you a hot-linked logo on the front page of both our websites: www.weconserve.ca and www.greenontario.org  (Join the Conservation Bureau as an early sponsor!). 

OPTION B – Be a Friend of Conservation
Contribute what you can!
We will list all supporters (corporate and individual) on our sponsors page with a web link.  Plus you'll be first on the list to be entered into the Great Green Directory. Suggested categories include:
$250 -- hey, we're small but we're in
$500 -- getting to know you
$1,000 -- you're doing great
$5,000+ -- show us what you can do!

OPTION C – Let’s Make a Deal
Contribution Agreements
This is the exciting one.  We’d like you to be creative and link your contributions to your conservation products and services. Examples include The Beer Store (donating 1/3 of coin box revenue), the Citizens Bank of Canada green mortgage (a $100 donation as part of each green mortgage sold), and our newest sponsor Fever Performance Wear (donating $2 of every bamboo product sold).  

We also accept major sponsorships from governments and larger companies with a demonstrated commitment to conservation in their operations and products.

Long-term sponsorships and contribution agreements will be given marquis billing on our websites and related material.
