Now, why would a bunch of
conservers support consumption?
Because green business,
green jobs, and a strong local economy are the foundation of a
sustainable future.
As the age of
globalization wanes and the market pressure for efficient and
responsible business increases, all businesses need to be green.
At the very least, you will need to address the resource and
environmental concerns of your company. At best, you will be a
leader in the transition to a sustainable, conserver economy.
Welcome to the movement!
We Conserve.
Take Action
1. Get listed on
the Great Green Directory
(coming soon)
We want to have all of Ontario's conservation
movement on a single directory. Imagine being able to
search for all the products, services, programs, incentives
and resources that can help you become a better conserver.
Every group and business that is part of the movement will
have its own page to describe how you can help people
conserve!
Hint: you will
be asked questions about your GreenLeader rating when you
set up your profile.
2. Be part of our
strategy
(associations)
We've always been a leader in
environmental strategic planning for Ontario, but now we are taking
it a step further with a member-driven "voluntary transition
strategy" that will show how associations across Ontario are leading
in transforming Ontario to a sustainable conserver society.

3.
Get Networked -- build community
Networking and
collaboration is the key to building community (you'll note
it's the 5th star on the GreenLeader program).

If you wish to
develop a tailored funding program through We Conserve, do
give us a call. We can help connect your sponsorship
fund to the issues or communities of your choice.
5.
Become a
member -- our own networking pitch
You don't have to (all our programs and resources are
'shareware'), but your membership is vital to help us develop
programs and advocate for supportive policy and incentives.
Membership is
open to all groups, businesses and municipalities that are
active in Ontario, share our vision of a conserver society,
and are committed to leadership in their own activities.
Membership is free for not-for-profit groups, and reasonably
priced for businesses and municipalities.
Imagine the power of a united
conservation movement, whose strength comes from our
personal commitment to taking action!
