Simple Messaging:  the wordmark is an indication that this organization / company / government is committed to conservation.

A meaningful commitment: The statement, "we conserve" should be backed up by action with respect to your internal commitment to conservation, particular products and services, and support for conservation in the community

Transparency: Members of the public should have easy access to supporting information regarding the scope and depth of the use of the wordmark. 

Non-controversial: the wordmark should only be used to promote projects, programs, products and services that support conservation.

Peer and public monitoring: Since the wordmark is intended to be used for publicity purposes, bad publicity is, in essence, the best way of managing any abuse of the wordmark.

Description
"We Conserve" is a two-tone wordmark that identifies the user as an active participant and/or supporter of a united conservation movement.  The wordmark is intended to have widespread use, and flexible application. 

These are the key design elements:

  • The font type is News Goth, with all letters lower case and the "we" in bold type.  the words "we" and conserve" are joined together as a single wordmark;
  • The wordmark must be in two distinct colours, or shades, to make a clear distinction between "we" and "conserve";
  • The colour scheme can be adapted and integrated with your own identity and brand;
  • personalized tag lines can be used under the logo, and in the same font.  Consistent with the brand use policy, the tag lines must be non-controversial and consistent the overall mission of promoting conservation and/or a conserver society.
